Tom joins METRO board
Councillor Tom Leadley Councillor Tom Leadley has taken  his seat on the board of METRO and been made spokesman for Leeds Passenger Services.

Councillor Leadley is a regular user of public transport and is looking forward to new challenges.  Tom was previously an appointee to the board prior to  2005 and has a wealth of experience in dealing with public transport issues.

On taking up his place on the METRO Board Councillor Leadley said " What is needed in Leeds is a good public transport service.  Some areas are served by a very poor standard of public transport and it is the task of METRO to ensure that the best possible public transport services are available."
