Terry becomes Mayor of Morley |

Morley Borough Independent Councillor Terry Grayshon, was elected Mayor of Morley at the Annual General Meeting of Morley Town Council held on Wednesday 14th May. Speaking following his election to Office, Councillor Grayshon said " It is strange the journey on which life takes us. Little did I think that one day I would be elected to the Office of Mayor, but then I never envisaged that I would fly six thousand miles to Sri Lanka to help with one of the worst natural disasters every seen. It is a very great privilege to accept this office for the forthcoming year." Councillor Grayshon has chosen the Royal British Legion as his Mayor's Charity for the forthcoming Municipal Year and has appointed Deacon David Smith as Mayor's Chaplain. |
