Meadowcroft School - enforcement action ongoing

Local residents, the Denshaws and Newlands Tenants & Residents Group and  Morley Borough Independent  Councillor Josie Jackson gathered at a demonstration outside Newlands Post Office  opposing its closure.

The new parking plan for Queensway Car Park has moved a step closure with the introduction of the machines which will issue the timed tickets for the car park.

Morley Borough Independent Councillors have welcomed the news that planning enforcement action is to commence against the controversial Meadowcroft school. .

Morley Borough Independent Councillors are to lead a campaign against the proposed closures of Britannia Road and Newlands Post Offices in Morley.

Morley Borough Independent Councillor Terry Grayshon, was elected Mayor of Morley at the Annual General Meeting of Morley Town Council held on Wednesday 14th May.

Drighlington residents poured into Drighlington Meeting Hall ty to vote on the allocation of £30,000 of grant.
